One thing the CoCo lacked was any form of music hardware, where most of the 8-bit systems of the era had a variety of sound chips and synthesizes built in offering hardware solutions and good sounding music, the CoCo had only it’s CPU and the 6-bit DAC (digital to analog converter) to create music. This is where the talent and determination of the programmer really showed what they were made of and what the CoCo could do. We are in need of more sites featuring CoCo specific music.
These pages are by no means complete, so if there is something missing, please email ogStevieStrow@gmail.com and let us know, we want to feature as much CoCo as we can.
